Is there any documented way to send controls from another app that would be capable of sending http requests?

I'd like to purchase the full copy but really want the ability to control it via some remote software I use (Andre Pro). This software has all kinds of network communications including http: so hoping it will work. So far much better then...

Currently, the only way you can use LANmote is to use your HTML5 capable browser. We have not provide any interface for 3rd party app to interact with LANmote because we don't think it will be of any use. However, we are open to proposals from developers who is interested to use LANmote to enhance their app.

In LANmote ver 1.5, we have implemented the app launcher as well as a way to allow 3rd party developer/user to launch any intent on the Android device. Developers interested to use this feature can comment on this thread.

publish lanmote on amazon appstpre

please publish this great app on amazon appstore too is there other way to pay for app other than google play store?
Response from the site administrator
portable, 24.11.2014
Currently, we have only published LANmote on Google Play store because the majority of devices have Google Play store. We have no plans to publish it for other stores due to additional work required to re-implement licensing restrictions for every store and the relatively small market share of other app stores.

Is LANmote open source, or can I license the src code?

Is LANmote an open source project like Droidmote, or can I license the source code to create my custom apps?
Response from the site administrator
portable, 13.06.2014
No, LANmote is NOT open source. If you are prepared to pay, we can discuss the options depending what you plan to do.

We have change the path of our keymap files in LANmote version 1.5 to the /data folder instead and it should now work in all rooted devices because the /data partition is always writable. If it still didn't work, navigate to these folder to see if these files exists.

\data\system\devices\idc\LANmote.idc
\data\system\devices\idc\LANmoteMT.idc
\data\system\devices\keychars\LANmote.kcm
\data\system\devices\keylayout\LANmote.kl

Comment if you still have such problem.
---
For older version of LANmote, if you experience similar problems, it is possible that somehow your device did not copy these essential files to the /system read-only partition of your device.

To check, install EStrong file explorer (ver 3.0.0), go to -> Tools -> Root explorer -> Mount R/W -> enable RO for system. Then, navigate yourself to see if these files exists.

\system\usr\keychars\LANmote.kcm
\system\usr\keylayout\LANmote.kl
\system\usr\idc\LANmote.idc
\system\usr\idc\LANmoteMT.idc

If these files do not exist, this is the reason LANmote doesn't work correctly because these files specify the keyboard inputs.

If you don't see these LANmote files in the folder, manually copy these files to the corresponding folder
You should be able to write these files to the corresponding folder by changing the Mount R/W option in EStrong to RW.

If you can't write to your system partition, our only recommendation is to change your ROM's firmware because this is your ROM's bug/problem.

Maybe it's an idea to make two scroll buttons.

Maybe it's an idea to make two scroll buttons. Scrolling can sometimes be hard if fingers are wet or fat. Adding two scroll buttons or one bar can solve the issue

Have you tried using two finger (multi-touch) to scroll the page? We have added page up/down button in the LANmote version 1.5.

I am seriously considering buying this, but what is "a limited amount of times"?

If i buy this, will it work for 10 times, before i have to purchase a new liscence?
Response from the site administrator
portable, 13.04.2013
No, you don't. The limit is ONLY when you don't have internet access because we need to access google lvl licensing server to validate the paid app.

how to start server without input device?

purchased deluxe, works great, however how do you start the interface without an initial input device, ie keyboard. My device is a Android Stick, no touch screen or other interface.
Response from the site administrator
portable, 14.06.2013
Tick the box that says Start LANmote at boot. Yes, you will need to use something, e.g. USB mouse to tick this box but after that, you won't need to use your USB mouse/keyboard to start LANmote anymore.

No cursor control only app launcher and mouse

Have himedia q5 which I believe runs Android 4.4. Have installed LANmote and can get to it from a browser, use the mouse commands, and launch apps. However I have no transport controls, no cursor keys or menu buttons etc etc. Any ideas?

More information needed. Cause of this problem is probably not due to LANmote. Would suggest you to try LANmote on other devices.

As I have explained to you via email, this issue has nothing to do with our app at all.

It is basically an issue with Google licensing server. It can happen from time to time and it normally will resolve by itself, assuming your device has no problem connecting to internet.

Will this work on the Amazon fire HD10?

If not, Im willing to assist in making it happen by providing logs and crash reports.
Response from the site administrator
portable, 12.01.2019
I cannot answer your question. Please download the lite version and try it yourself. You will need Play Store if you are using the Deluxe version for licensing reason.
